Fun at the Mall!

Tonight my friend Natalie came to visit and we went to the new outdoor mall for dinner. This was the funnest part. Playing in the water!!

Look closely you'll see Natalie and her mom.Wow! This is awesome.
Where did the water Go?

Natalie kept running around the outside edge afraid to get wet, but by the end she was soaking wet, loving the fountains. Mommy finally got me out of my stroller and let me feel the water too! It was FUN! She even let me walk to the water. I am getting so good at walking now.
Daddy works late on Wed. nights so he couldn't make it:( Next time mommy said daddy could come too!

I love my friends!

Mommy was remembering how easy it used to be to get all four of us posed for our picture. This picture was about 10 months ago, oh how we have grown. Now mommy is lucky to get a picture with all of us IN it let alone looking at the camera or posing!


Look closely you can see four babies in this picture!

I am actually walking in this picture, Since my friends Jonathan and Josiah are walking all over now, I had to try and follow suit. In this picture my arm is raised because I am sooo excited that I am actually walking.

"Nolan is that your water bottle?"
"No, it's yours, so who's water bottle do you have?"
"This one is Josiah's, His slobber really tastes great!"
"Hey so does yours..."

What a blast I had today, I even got to stay awake during my usual nap time because we were all playing so well. I love my friends.

Finally!

Big news everyone!!! Today my tooth finally popped through! I've been rubbing my tongue along it all day, because I am so proud of it. Mommy figured it out when she was feeding me from her fork she heard a scraping noise...It was my tooth.

It is on the top, and three more are just ready to pop out on the top.
The bottoms are coming slow and steady.

Just Playing

After my pancakes and bath and before bible study, I just got to play for awhile.

Pancakes Please

Mommy made hash brown and blueberry pancakes for supper last night, Wow did I enjoy those. Daddy even put a little syrup on them for me (Thursday's are one of my bath days:)

ohh...this looks very interesting.
I've got the hang of this now!

Mom, I think we should have blueberry pancakes more often.

Welcome Emryn Grace Firestone

Mommy's Friend Sara had a baby on Friday! She's a girl:) I don't know very many girls yet, but I think she is pretty cute!

She was 7 pounds 2 oz and she was 19.5 inches long! Welcome to the World Emryn Grace

Potatoes Please

Today my favorite toy was the potatoes at the bottom of the pantry...Mommy told me I have to like potatoes...
It is passed down from Great Grandpa and papa Hoke...
Give me some potatoes please:)

Also, thanks Grandma netty for my cute new clothes, I got to wear one of the outfits today.

Snack Time?!?!

Today mommy let me have snack in the living room, but only if I stayed in the laundry basket. That way I wouldn't get crumbs all over. I enjoyed my new snack spot

Fun with Friends

Last night mommy had a Pampered Chef meeting, so I got to play with Jonathan and Josiah all night...


'Jonathan, that is my cup!' 'josiah, is that a block in your mouth? That looks good.'I really like this piano, it even has a music book on it.


This is one of my new moves when I am very excited, I started it at my birthday. I lay flat on my belly arch my head and back and kick my leg with excitement!

Thanks for taking care of me Ms. Jen, I had a great time!

New Wagon

Cousin Nicole, let me have her wagon! I LOVE it! It is so fun to go on walks I can look all around me and mommy and daddy are in front of me so I can always keep my eyes on them. We went to the park and daddy took me down the slide, I wasn't sure what to think, but I loved watching all the kids and puppies at the park.

Stay tuned...my new skill is that I can walk all by myself about 3 feet at a time, then I get so excited that I fall down. Soon I will be walking as fast as I crawl (and that's saying a lot)

Mommy can also see two white bumps on my upper gums! Soon I could have some teeth.

Mommy and Daddy took me to the Doctor on Friday I got three shots, and afterwards I was so mad I ripped my bandaids off my leg and threw them on the ground. The doctor said I was a healthy baby boy. And told mommy and daddy that I am now in my terrible twos. It is the second year of life, not when I am two! So I am excited that now I can throw some fits and mommy will just say I am in my terrible twos! I am still a little squirt in the 5th percentile weighing in at 19 pounds! But size does not matter, no matter how big you are I will try to tackle you and give you a kiss (one of my other new talents).

Mommy says we are not going back to Iowa until May, so all my family and friends from there will have to come visit me to see all my talents!

Fun with Friends

It had almost been a whole week since all of us had seen each other, and we were so glad to play! It was the fall kick off for daddy's bible study, and boy did we have fun...
Thankfully this toy has enough pieces so no one has to share...
Jonathan seems to think the toy tastes good...
Aunt Ashley said it was good for our social development to play together...I just think it is fun:)

Nap Head

Mom...I just woke up, do you have to take a picture?!?!
Mommy got me from my nap the other day and this is what my hair looked like!! What was I doing in my sleep??

New Toy

Here is one of my birthday presents, I am enthralled with the detachable cellphone that rings:)

This is the outfit I wore today, and mommy thought I looked like such a big boy in it! In this picture I am about ready to honk the horn.

Let's see what happens if I ram this into the door.I am really trying to walk now, I can take a few steps all by myself, but then I get so excited that I did it, that I fall down! Pretty soon I'll be walking around like my friends Jonathan and Josiah!

These are a few of my favorite things!

I am one now, so I thought you might want to know what some of my favorite things are:

My most favorite would have to be my pacers, however, I now only use them in bed and I can only have two at a time, and sometimes mommy lets me use them in the car. I also like to sleep with a blankie...Now, this is actually a place of torture for me, however I do love to be naked and I have to go on this thing to get naked, so it is a means to one of my favorite things. Lounging around Nude!
I have to sleep with this fan going on medium speed at all times. The noise helps me to fall asleep and not wake up too early.
This is still my most favorite food! Yum Yum
This is the new fan mommy put in the car. I LOVE it. I do not get sweaty in the car any more, and I actually enjoy riding in the car!
My most favorite thing however, is getting into mischief! Here I am 'helping' mom unload the dishwasher:)

The Aftermath

By the middle of the party we had most of my toys strung around the room...Notice how clean the floor is:) In this picture I am looking at my new doggy that i had to have mom take out of the box before I opened ANY more presents. But once she got it out I let Jonathan play with it too.
This is me after everyone has left, I am finishing off the bag of Pirate's booty. I am a very tired boy!

Mommy was sad that she forgot to take a picture of all the snacks she had for the grown ups, but I don't see why it matters as long as you have some pictures of me and my friends!

I had such a fun day!

Also the bag on the corner of the counter is Pirate's Booty. It is kind of like puffed popcorn and a very yummy treat!

Cake Time

My theme for my birthday was Micky Mouse, and mommy made this cake for me:)

I am now ready for some cake...

I do not really like this stuff, I would rather have some Pirate's Booty, and I'd definitely rather be playing on the floor with my friends.
