Playing some more

Mommy is now taking LOTS of pictures of me, becuase daddy misses us sooo much, that he needs to see how I am growing. We really miss daddy too, but today I got to talk to him on the phone twice! I love my daddy.

Me and Lucy

Here is a picture of Lucy and Grandma and I. Lucy and I are getting used to each other now. Lucy likes to lick me and I like to pet Lucy's nose.

I Love being outside!

Grandpa takes me outside every day to look at the flowers. He also has me practice walking and standing on the grass. I love to be outside.

Today I fell on the ground and it made me really sad. Here is Grandpa trying to make me happy...

Playing

I am still having fun playing with my big toy. I love to open and close the door, and open and close the window.

Mommy's Socks

I found mommy's socks on the floor, and thought they were a great teething tool:)

Shopping?!?!

You know I do not appreciate shopping, especially at the mall, it is soooo boring and there are no trees or plants. However, mommy, grandma, aunt abbie and her friend rachel all dragged me along to the mall any way. I was a very good boy even though I missed an entire nap! This was the highlight of my day. While mommy and grandma tried on clothes I got to play with the mirror. I really enjoyed trying to kiss that other good looking babby in there!

Potatoes and Carrots

Mommy and Grandma made a roast the other day, and I got to eat some of the carrots and potatoes! I LOVED them, which is a good thing, becuase if you don't like potatoes in the hoke family you are kicked out:) J/K Anyway I ate them like a big boy, they were not even smashed. Yummy Yummy. Oh and this is the highchair mommy and grandma put together. They tried first with out the directions and then realized they definately needed the directions...they ended up taking it apart and putting it back together. But now it is perfect. I love it.

Update

I am finally caught up to date on this blog! We have had a crazy few weeks. First my plane ride to Iowa, then Great Grandma and Granpa Hokes 50th wedding anniversary, then a week with my Uncle Eric and Grandma and Granpa Haberkorn, and now I am back with my Grandma and Grandpa Hoke. Daddy had to fly back to Arizona Friday though, and it was VERY sad. I miss him so much and so does mommy. We will not see him again until July! That seems like a very long time.

Today I was working very hard on standing up all by myself without hanging on to anything, but I only did it a couple of times for a few minutes. I am also getting much better at taking a few steps when I am hanging on to some furniture. But my biggest thing I did today was climb one step! That was so much fun.

Beautiful Day!

Today was such a great day, mommy, grandma and grandpa took me outside to play. I loved watching all the cars go by and using mommy as a jungle gym. She is so great to play on !

I love my toy

Grandma got me this amazing toy! It makes all sorts of noises and does so many different things. My favorite thing to do is crawl through the door.

Gma and Gpa Hokes

This is my first experience with stairs! They are just my height and I love to crawl on them.




After a few trys I already figured out how to go up the first step! But then I forgot I was on a step and I dove off, good thing mommy was there to catch me!

Pool

This is me swimming in the pool Aunty and Uncle Todd and Val got Grandpa. Grandpa was very nice and filled it with warm water from the house. I still thought it was too cold though. I am used to much hotter weather. Maybe I'll like it better next time...

Yummy

This is Daddy feeding my my vegatables. I really miss him. He is back in AZ now, and we are still in Iowa. It is going to be a LONG three weeks with out him. The first night I was really really sad:(




I LOVE my food!

Me and Buddy

I really like playing with buddy! He is just my size, it took us awhile to warm up to each other. When I first met buddy all He wanted to do was lick my face, and all I wanted to do was run away.




Then I got brave and started crawling right towards him and he kind of thought I was weird and would go away.




But by the end we had reached a general understanding. We liked to sit by each other and I liked to climb over buddy. We love each other. He also LOVES when I sit in my high chair. One day I fed him a whole biscuit!

I love the piano!

This is the first time I got to play the piano. I loved listening to Uncle Eric play. He was so nice to let me play with him.

I would just rather suck on this right now!



Uncle Eric would play around me while Grandma held me. I LOVE music. Thanks for playing the piano and Sax for me Uncle Eric, when I come in July I want to hear the guitar.

More Family Pics

We went on a wakl to a nearby park. I was sooo tired, that I did not want to ride in my stroller so daddy and grandpa carried me on the walk. I definately love all this green stuff.

Bath Time Fun!

Amazingly, this is my first sink bath! This is when I was at Grandma and Grandpa Haberkorn's in Iowa.

Wow! I have never seen so much green stuff in my entire life! I like to sit in it, but I will not crawl in it, and if mommy gets too far away it is kind of scary to sit in that stuff by myself. I do love to look at all the green out the window:)

50th Wedding Anniversary

Everyone else had pork and cheesecake, but I got a biter biscuit and milk. I think my dinner was much better:)
