Anna is 8 Months Old!!!

Wow, time sure flies when you are growing growing growing! Anna is now an expert 'sitter' She can sit all by herself she has even sat in the grocery carts now. She loves it, but mommy can't get much shopping done because so many people stop and say how cute she is! She also gets to sit in a highchair when we go out to eat now too. Even if she is super tired she loves these new activities, she is a little socialite and will smile and 'talk' to anyone who will make eye contact with her. She just started army crawling a few days ago and is now REALLY unstoppable:) She has even been caught waving back at people every once in a while it is so cute. Still no teeth and still on the upper end of 14 pounds. She has been eating 'solid' food for quite some time now. She enjoys carrots, squash, sweet potatoes and today I even gave her avocado and she loved it. She is not a picky girl, but she does prefer everything to be mixed in with her cereal. Oh and FINALLY she is sleeping through the night!!! YEAH for that. She did have her first Urgent Care visit with Croup, they gave her some steroids and she was much better after that. She is such a great baby and so easy going. We adore her.

February in Review

Life has been crazy around here lately. Normally I take well over 100 pictures each month. I just uploaded my February pictures and I only had 15! So needless to say it's been a rough February, but tomorrow is the last day and March is looking up:)

January in AZ

Above is Anna with one of her boyfriends. I watch Camden two and a half days a week, and Anna LOVES playing with him. She especially loves sucking on his arm, or knee or head:)

The mini Science Center...

The Science Center in Cedar Rapids was destroyed by the flood but they have a little one now at the mall. We went with Todd and Val and John and the kids had a great time playing...The big kids had some fun too:)

Trip to Iowa City

We had a girls day in Iowa City, minus Ashley:(, I was so excited to be able to see Abbie's apartment, where she is interning, and hang out. We had a great day.

The mommy and kiddo consensus is that Winter in Iowa is better than Summer in Arizona. At least you can still go outside and play in the winter in Iowa...Not so much in the Summer in AZ.

Aunt Ashley's Classroom!

Ashley works at a school in Downtown Des Moines. Here are some pictures of her classroom! You can tell she is a GREAT teacher! We are so proud of her!

Trip to Des Moines
