Locks of Love
Today I donated my hair to Locks of Love. The hair is used for wigs for children who loose their hair due to chemo or various illnesses.
I donated 11 inches!!! Here is the photo journey: Above is Before.
Getting my hair washed.
Prepping for the chop.
The chop...(Actually it took many cuts to cut through my very thick hair)
EEK... It is so short, but feels sooo good.
The braid that I will send in to Locks of Love
Almost Done
The finished product! YEAH. I should have taken a pic of the back it is way cute and SHORT. Jen got her hair cut too and our friend Donna came with. What great Moral supports to have during what could have been a traumatizing experience. But thanks to Diana (the stylist) It was a great experience.
What a fun time!

Halloween evening
After a full day at the state fair we still got home in time for trick or treating. We just went up and down our street, but Isaac decided he liked passing out candy better and after our candy ran out proceeded to give away all but two pieces of candy from his own bucket.
You can tell from the pics that we have two tired babies!

Gobble Gobble
So Matt decided to teach the kids that the turkeys will gobble when you make a loud noise. So Matt would clap his hands next to a Turkey and then it would gobble. A few minutes later, this is what we witnessed...
Obviously roaring at the turkey works just as well. You would think Isaac would be scared of a bird that is bigger than him...

Arizona State Fair!!!
On Halloween Day Fred and Jen Harris took us to the AZ state fair for Matt's birthday!!! THough it is not as amazing as the Iowa state fair it was very fun and plenty for the kiddos. Above is Isaac 'milking' a cow. Real milk came out!
I think Isaac's face says it all! This is how excited he was in the animal barn.
Natalie, Jack and Isaac petting a goat.
Very Very happy boy!

Happy 30th Daddy!!!
So I am extremely behind on posts! Sorry it has been crazy around here. Here's a little catch up. Matt turned 30 on the 30th and we celebrated with his traditional homemade apple pie:) YUMMY. Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Ernie came up for the celebration.
"hey daddy, I think you need some help blowing out that candle"
Anna, that is how it is done, hopefully you can do it now when you turn one!
We only had Isaac's left over 3 candle so I improvised and used one of Isaac's letter cookies to make a 0.
One big happy family. Family pics are getting harder and harder, in this one we have 50% looking at the camera;)

The carnival games!
First of all the costumes were not a big hit for all the kids except Jack so they were soon taken off and strewn about the house:) At least we got some cute pictures! Above is the awesome pin the tail on the donkey that the Harris' made! This was my favorite one, Jack put it right on the eyeball!
Next was the who can roll the easter egg to the other side of the room using your nose the fastest. Half-way through Jack decided to whip it across the room. It was pretty funny.
Last but certainly not least our version of bobbing for apples. They had to get the apple as it was hanging from a string. The whole 'no hands' concept was very hard for the 3 and under age bracket:) But boy did we have fun. And prizes for everyone when it was over.

Everyone all dolled up.
