The Petting Zoo

Isaac LOVED the petting zoo and was in there longer than any other child! He hugged a pony, goat, pig and also loved the chickens!
The lady running the petting zoo helped him pick up this chicken. You can tell he LOVED it!

Hay Ride!

First Ice Cream Cone and 4 Months Old

Isaac has had PLENTY of ice cream, but this was his first official ice cream cone! As you can see he LOVED it. He did a great job. This was also the first time he wanted any other type of ice cream besides the 'white icecream' He chose pink (strawberry) this time and loved it.


Anna is 4 months old today!! WOW time sure does fly. She is as cute as ever and doing new little things every day. Today she was just laughing and laughing at Isaac. It was so precious.
Almost DONE! Yum Yum His first bite of the actual cone was very small and tentative, but after that he got the idea:)

Sushi!!!

Monday we went out for a very early b-day dinner for Daddy!!! He will be 30 on the 30th!! So that is going to take a LOT of celebrating. This was mommy's first attempt at actually eating sushi and it was pretty good. Daddy LOVES sushi and Isaac thinks his fried rice and chicken was sushi so of course he liked it:) Here he is discovering how to use chopsticks so they work for him...Just stab it!

Bubbles Bubbles Bubbles...

Here is what happens when a three year old gets a hold of the soap bottle! Isaac's comment "daddy, it won't come out any more" meaning he dumped the ENTIRE bottle of bubbles into the bath!!! Daddy made it fun and taught him how to make bubble clothes, beards, and hats:) Might as well have fun with it!

She's a PRO

Within the last week Anna has become a PRO at rolling over from her back to her tummy. She is so fast in fact that daddy had to hold her still while I pushed play on the camera otherwise she would already be flipped:) She is what you would call a proficient roller. and at only three months of age! We think she is rolling so early because she is just trying to survive amidst her crazy brother and the other two kiddos I watch during the day. Now she can even sometimes flip back over from her tummy to her back. Soon she'll be rolling across the floor! I do not want my baby growing up that fast! Enjoy the video.

Too Cute!

Last week anna was really working on trying to roll over! She grabs her little feet and then rocks back and forth. She is so adorable.

Training for the half!!!

Mommy is training to walk the half marathon again this January! So here is a pic of Isaac and Anna in the jogging stroller borrowed from the Changs! Isaac looks SOOOO HUGE and anna looks sooo tiny. The nice part is that Isaac can reach over and talk to Anna when she gets sad. What good kiddos to help mommy train.

Rex Allen Days and Mommy's B-day

Last weekend was Sheri's b-day! So we went down to Wilcox for Rex Allen Days with Aunt Bonnie. It was a weekend full of carnivals, parades, and train rides:) We all had such a great time. Above is Isaac on the car ride home, for any of you that know him you know that this is about as rare as finding a needle in a haystack! I think he had a GREAT time.

Thanks Aunt Bonnie for a fun birthday weekend, we missed Uncle Ernie and hope he can come next time!

Sheriff and his Posse

Saturday night we got to meet the Sheriff and his Posse! THey were eating at the same restaurant as we were! They did a gun show during the parade. It was fun to meet them up close and personal. They reenact down at Tombstone every weekend.

Aztec Indian Dancers

We went back to the carnival on Saturday afternoon and this is what we got to see!! They were AMAZING and had so much energy. Isaac enjoyed watching them and would chant and clap along with them. Anna did not appreciate the drumming noise, but soon fell asleep anyway:)

His FAVORITE part about the carnival was this amazing train ride that I forgot to take pictures of. Someone had made a miniture train pulled by a small tractor. It would pull us all around the park. I had to buy a wrist band so we could go as many times as Isaac wanted. What FUN

Isaac and Anna's First Parade!

It was actually COLD in Wilcox. Real Fall weather. We had a blast. (Isaac is sporting his Iowa sweatshirt go #11 in the nation!)

Isaac mimicking the sound of the horns on the little Shriner cars as he is eating a piece of candy. He LOVED picking up the candy being thrown from the floats. And mommy knows how to pick a spot with the least amount of children so he also had adults giving him their candy too!

He also loved watching the horses. What a FUN parade.

Isaac's first carnival!

Here we are checking out the carnival. Isaac got to choose two rides Friday night and of course he chose the train...He just walked right in and got on all by himself never looking back. It was so cute.
Choice number two: The boat ride. He LOVED this as well. There was a bell on the front of every boat that every single child was ringing continually as the ride went around and around.

He was the only child that decided it would be fun to splash the man running the ride and then proceed to lick off the water from his hand...GROSS... but we are pretty sure this is how he stays immune to most sicknesses.

Red Robin

Last Monday we went to Red Robin for an early birthday dinner for mommy! We ate outside and the mister system was going crazy so there was water EVERYWHERE on one part of the patio. So it was one part restaurant one part splash park. Who could have asked for anything better. Anna, our precious girl slept through it all.

Gavin Turns Three

Last weekend we got to go to Gavin's house to celebrate his birthday!!! YEAH it was so much fun!
