Isaac is THREE!!!!

Isaac, of course, had to choose the train theme. Above is the table before the boys got here...the calm before the storm:)

Below is the adorable cupcakes my friend Dottie made.

The birthday boy and his 'blower'
blowing out his 3 candle!
The whole GANG. Love how Gavin and Isaac always go for the frosting first!
Jonathan, very excited about his blower!
Now this is mommy trying to get the Haberkorn traditional 'hold up as many fingers as how old you are by the cake' picture. He only held up three fingers for a split second and of course I did not get that shot. So maybe next year... but in the meantime this picture turned out pretty cute!
Gavin sporting the black frosting mustache.
Josiah, what a little ham.
Nolan, deciding his blower needed some cupcake inside of it:)

Isaac's new 'monica

Isaac picked out a drum with a harmonica, maracas and a tambourine in it for his birthday from Great Grandma and Grandpa Hoke. His favorite instrument out of those turned out to be the harmonica. He played it all day long and the next morning the first thing he said when he woke up was '"where is my 'monica" It was sooo cute:)

Thanks for the gift card G Grandma and G'pa!

Splash Pad Fun

Here is the splash pad that is at the new park by our house. We went last Sat. with our neighbors and had a blast:) Here is Isaac playing in the water. Nothing like playing in the slpash pad at bedtime!

Isaac LOVES the water:)

Our Amazing Neighbor!

Last Saturday we went to the skate park with our neighbors, there is also an awesome toddler playground and the splash pad. Here is a video of our neighbor Joseph and his Friend Chris at the skate park. Joseph is in the yellow shirt!

McDonald's Playland

Last week sometime we had a play date with Nolan and Reagan at McDonald's It is a new one and the playland is AWESOME!! The above picture is our attempt at getting Nolan and Isaac to pose. Now Isaac likes to pose, but Nolan was off and running.

The toys below all make the noise of their musical instrument as the kids play on them! They LOVED it. Nolan is in the orange jumping off the drums and Isaac is in the stripes climbing up the piano.

Up in the big climbing play part! What fun.
I wanted to get a picture of Anna and Reagan together but of course I forgot:( I"m sure there will be plenty of opportunity.

knuckle sucking

Anna has discovered her fist! She loves to suck on it, in particular the knuckle of her index finger. I thought this video was so cute because you can even hear her sucking over the loud dishwasher:)

Smiling baby

Anna is a pro at smiling now! She actually has been smiling since week 5, but now is doing it many times throughout the day. She has even laughed a few times. It is soooo cute. We are trying to get it on video, but she kind of likes to cry in front of the camera for some reason...maybe brother told her what was to come...the camera in her face all the time for the rest of her life:)
So adorable I just want to kiss those cheeks! They get plenty of kisses that's for sure.

picture time

So, last week after we finished cleaning up and it was time for Jonathan and Josiah to go home. The boys voluntarily got on the toy box and started smiling saying 'cheese' we didnt' even have our cameras out.

So apparently we force them to pose so much that they are just programmed to do it now;) How cute.
What good buddies!

The fish Hatchery

On the way home we got to go to the fish hatchery. It was so fun to feed the BIG fish and then to walk around and see the baby tiny fish.

Woods Canyon Lake

This was the lake at our campground. It is pretty nice to see a body of water when we live in a desert!

Anna was sleeping on Daddy for most of the lake visit. How precious. She does have a scratch on her face, mommy didn't cut her nails quick enough...They grow so quickly!

Fun in the Tent

That is just the CUTEST face EVER poking out of the tent.

Just a hand.

Isaac LOVED sleeping and playing in the tent:)

Hiking with Daddy

Having a blast discovering with daddy. These are the times it pays to have a biologist as a daddy...
Now Isaac knows the names of all the plants and their symbiotic relationships.
Yes, my two year old is smarter than you;)

Thanks Auntie Val (and Uncle Todd and baby John)

Here is Anna in her adorable little PE outfit courtesy of her Auntie Val the PE teacher:) It is soooo cute.

Night Shots

I love to use the night setting on our camera! I think it is awesome. The top picture is Isaac tripping over a rock afterwards he said "The rock did that to me!"

Gotta love the headlamps!

Isaac "Seriously even taking pictures in the dark, do I ever get a break?"

See above comment from Isaac
Campfire. We roasted hotdogs and of course Marshmallows! Yum o

Getting the campsight set up

Anna just hanging out. She got to wear all her cute little warm weather clothes. Don't really get a chance to do that in the Valley.
Isaac decided to make his own bed with the tarp and the picnic blanket...right on the cement...looks comfortable?
Thanks to mark and Jen for letting us borrow this camping bouncer it worked perfect and kept the wind from Anna's ears.

I'm Ready!

Last weekend we went camping!!! Here is Isaac with his Camelback all ready to go. He would not go out the door with out is backpack:)

Happy boy who LOVES camping.

Being 'gentle'

About as many times as Isaac asks "can I kiss her" I am saying 'be gentle!' Overall he is doing pretty well with his baby sister and is a BIG helper to mommy:)
