I loved swimming at the pool. All I have to say is good thing mommy put swim diapers on me:)

My First Hotel Room!

After the plane ride, aunty and uncle Todd and Valerie picked us up and drove us to meet aunt abbie. After that I went to my first hotel room! Even after traveling all day I was so excited just to crawl around mommy and daddy could hardly change my diaper!

What is Going On!?!?

Packing for a month and a half!! Wow mom has a big job ahead of her.



I know I have not been posting for awhile, but I do need my mommy's help, and she has been sooo busy getting ready for our trip. We are going to a far off place called Iowa for a month and a half!!! My grandparents are there and so are my aunts and uncles. Mommy says I will be spoiled when I am there...But daddy can't stay the whole time he needs to come back and work, so I will miss him SOOOO much. Who is going to help me look at all the new plants in Iowa, mom just does not do it as well.

I may have one more post before Iowa, becuase tomorrow is my 9 month appointment! I am getting sooo big.

Yesterday we celebrated Father's Day, becuase Mommy and I are going to be away from daddy on Father's day. We went to the botanical garden. I sure do love that place:)

Twins

Here are some pictures of the twins. Sometimes the twins and I like to crawl right up to daddy while he's teaching and just sit there and listen to him. He is so interesting! But most of the time we just like to play or eat. Nolan doesn't like to listen yet, because he is still too little to crawl, but he can sit up now and play with us! What a big boy.

Nolan and I were having fun last night, and our mommy's accidently dressed us as twins. I think mommy just didn't want Nolan and I to feel left out with Jonathan and Josiah there.

Thursday Night Bible Study

These are some pictures of our bible study on Thursday night. Daddy leads it, and is getting very good at talking over all the noise us kids make. It is so fun to see all my friends Thursday nights. It may look a little crazy, but we have a blast. Look closely I am trying to steal one of the twins' toy. In another picture I am attacking Nolan (he is trying to be protected by his mommy, but I'm not afraid of Ms. Christine!)

Sucking my toes

I am now so talented I can suck on my toes! I know the one picture is blurry, but we needed some evidence about how talented I am. Nolan started it first, and after Nolan did it mommy and Andrew and Christine all tried it too! They were pretty good at it, but Nolan and I are better. Yesterday when we went for a walk all I did was suck on my toes. (daddy thought mommy and christine and Andrew were immature for trying to suck on their toes, but I think he just can't do it) I dare you to try.

My New Helmet

One thing I have been doing lately is wearing this tupperware on my head. Daddy usually puts it there, but I found out just the other day how useful it is. While I was pulling myself up on the book shelf I decided to pull down a big hardcover book from above me. It landed right on my head, but thankfully I had my helmet on! This thing is amazing.

Eating finger foods

This video was taken earlier this week. I now eat toast or puffs with every meal! I am so good at feeding myself. Next I will have to try the biter biscuits that great grandma got me.

Celebrate!

after the service we went out to eat with all the people who love me here in the valley. My Great Grandparents, two sets of aunts and uncles (great ones) and my cousins. Notice I am at the head of the table. I LOVED all the attention I was getting. Nicole and Jennifer gave me everything I wanted the entire time. I got to eat my banana and puffs while everyone else ate their big sandwiches.

Also, thank you for my gifts. Daddy read me some of my new bible this morning and then we listend to the veggie tales CD's and mommy is going to read me the book about Noah later today. I love all of you!

Baby Dedication

Yesterday mommy and daddy dedicated me to the church! It was a wonderful service and I got to go up to the front with all my friends! I was the most animated one up there. I really like to be in front of a lot of people. I'll be getting more pictures, but here is one of them. I'm sure you can check my friend's blogs for more pictures too.

Nolan's daddy, Andrew graduated from the school of global management and business ASU on Friday. We had a great time supporting him, but it was hot and i would not take a nap, so I am very tired in my picture:) But I was still a good boy:)

I LOVE making this noise. I do it ALL the time, and it is a wonderful shower for anyone who dares to come close.

I'm standing!!!

This is me pulling myself up. The first time I did it, I took one hand off right away and just wanted to stand on my own, but I have quickly learned that I am not quite ready for that yet. Mylegs are getting stronger every day though.

This is me and Nolan. Our parents stuck us in these things so they could eat in peace. I like playing with Nolan, but I would rather suck on his head or leg.

I'm Trying

I am really trying to pull myself up to a standing position and I have done it a couple of times, but I am still really shaky. Sometimes it is just easier to suck on the table instead of stand up:)

I love my tent

This is my tent that Great Grandma and Grandpa Hoke got me for Christmas. I was too little to play with it then, but now I LOVE it and it is all I am playing with. I played with it all day today. There is so much to play with on it. Thank you so much ggma and ggpa!

I am REALLY two-thirds

First of all I am not three fourths yet, I am two-thirds. Fractions are hard for someone who is 8 months. Here are some pictures of me, notice how long my hair is getting! Mommy thinks she should cut it around the ears, but grandma said to let it keep growing...We'll see what happens.
