My New Helmet

One thing I have been doing lately is wearing this tupperware on my head. Daddy usually puts it there, but I found out just the other day how useful it is. While I was pulling myself up on the book shelf I decided to pull down a big hardcover book from above me. It landed right on my head, but thankfully I had my helmet on! This thing is amazing.

Eating finger foods

This video was taken earlier this week. I now eat toast or puffs with every meal! I am so good at feeding myself. Next I will have to try the biter biscuits that great grandma got me.

Celebrate!

after the service we went out to eat with all the people who love me here in the valley. My Great Grandparents, two sets of aunts and uncles (great ones) and my cousins. Notice I am at the head of the table. I LOVED all the attention I was getting. Nicole and Jennifer gave me everything I wanted the entire time. I got to eat my banana and puffs while everyone else ate their big sandwiches.

Also, thank you for my gifts. Daddy read me some of my new bible this morning and then we listend to the veggie tales CD's and mommy is going to read me the book about Noah later today. I love all of you!

Baby Dedication

Yesterday mommy and daddy dedicated me to the church! It was a wonderful service and I got to go up to the front with all my friends! I was the most animated one up there. I really like to be in front of a lot of people. I'll be getting more pictures, but here is one of them. I'm sure you can check my friend's blogs for more pictures too.

Nolan's daddy, Andrew graduated from the school of global management and business ASU on Friday. We had a great time supporting him, but it was hot and i would not take a nap, so I am very tired in my picture:) But I was still a good boy:)

This is the best video mommy could get of me, becuase I am sooo fast! I move every where. I am sure she will try to get some more video of me crawling.

I'm standing!!!

This is me pulling myself up. The first time I did it, I took one hand off right away and just wanted to stand on my own, but I have quickly learned that I am not quite ready for that yet. Mylegs are getting stronger every day though.

Me and Nolan

This is me and Nolan. Our parents stuck us in these things so they could eat in peace. I like playing with Nolan, but I would rather suck on his head or leg.

I'm Trying

I am really trying to pull myself up to a standing position and I have done it a couple of times, but I am still really shaky. Sometimes it is just easier to suck on the table instead of stand up:)

I love my tent

This is my tent that Great Grandma and Grandpa Hoke got me for Christmas. I was too little to play with it then, but now I LOVE it and it is all I am playing with. I played with it all day today. There is so much to play with on it. Thank you so much ggma and ggpa!

I am REALLY two-thirds

First of all I am not three fourths yet, I am two-thirds. Fractions are hard for someone who is 8 months. Here are some pictures of me, notice how long my hair is getting! Mommy thinks she should cut it around the ears, but grandma said to let it keep growing...We'll see what happens.

I am three fourths!!

Today I am three fourths! I am getting soooo big! I am amazing at crawling now and can even sit up from a crawling position all by myself! Also mommy says I should say thank you to the ladies at ISSB, becuase they got me this awesome outfit! Thank you.

Daddy, decided to play with me in the pack and play yesterday...we had so much fun. Mommy says there is a weight limit, but i don't know what that means.

My Face

This one is just my face I think it is kind of wierd, but mommy loves it. I also forgot to mention that if you like these pictures, mommy can tell you where you can get them done. The people are really nice and they just let me play the whole time I didn't have to pose or anything. Also, these are only a few samples they are sending mommy a CD FULL of pictures of me. Mommy says I need to be careful so I don't become prideful.

Professional Pics

When Grandma Hoke was here, we went to get my pictures taken! I had such a fun time and so did Grandma and mommy. I got to play with my Truck and everything. Can you believe how big I am getting??

quick crawler

I am getting so good at crawling! I can get anywhere I want to go. Today I got to the plants before mommy could get me and I got to eat some dirt! That stuff was AWESOME!

Drama King

This is the cough I do when I need some attention. It usually brings mommy or daddy to come check on me...They don't know it is a fake cough and that i'm only doing it for attention...shhhh...don't tell them.

My first band-aid

Since I am crawling like crazy now, I am getting much more banged up. It is awesome. I scratched my leg on something so mommy and daddy put this band-aid on me...It's amazing! (That thing I am playing with is a rack for mommy's baking stones, it is a great toy)

Pick up Stix

AFter the botanical Gardens we met our friends at Pick up Stix, it was Jen's birthday, but for some reason grown ups don't like to talk about how old they are, I am very proud that I am almost 8 months! I am practically a grown up already.


I loved having grandma visit, there was always someone to hold me and sit in the back of the car with me. I love you grandma




This is me and Natalie. Nolan and I decided we were just not going to talk to her since she is two-timing us, but she is just too much fun! Isn't she cute...I'm sure if you look at our friend's blog she is on there with Nolan again, we will just let the best man win;)

Botanical Gardens with Grandma

I had so much fun at the botanical gardens on Friday. Uncle Ernie carried me around in his cart a lot and the funnest part was when i decided to push the reverse button without him knowing it and we went on a really fast ride:) (I am smarter than I look:)

Just Me

I am getting so good at crawling now! My knees are turning bright red from all the hard work, but I Love being able to get to anything I want. Ecspecially the plants and the book shelf!

Grandma and Me at the Park

Yesterday we went to the park so I could get my picture taken, but it was too windy so we had to go to the studio...I had fun at that place, but before we went inside mommy snapped a few pictures of me and grandma.

Grandma's Here

Grandma's here to visit me this week and today she gave me a bath!! I LOVE my baths. It is finally warm enough to dry off outside!
